Women in Development of Greater Boston

The Program Committee Presents:

"Finding the Next Generation of Donors"

Speakers: Kathy Cotter, Rita German, and Caroline Stevens

Looking to tap into a new donor base? Trying to engage the adult children of your top donors? Need to discover new talent for volunteer boards?

Come hear how experts from three of the top institutions in our city are tackling these and other issues, in their own unique ways. Take their ideas, experiences and best practices and put them to work in your organization.

Kathy Cotter, Senior Development Officer at Brigham and Women's Hospital, has managed the BWH Board of Overseers from its inception 6 years ago and has grown the group to include 42 individuals. Prior to joining BWH, Kathy held development positions at a number of independent schools before making the transition to academic medicine.

Rita German, Program Director, Emerging Leaders at the United Way of Massachusetts and Merrimack Valley. She is responsible for strategizing and managing the program of 2,000 young professionals (ages 22 – 39). Rita is a board member at the YWCA of Boston.

Caroline Stevens, Development Officer at the Museum of Fine Arts manages the Museum Council, the young supporters membership group for the MFA. Caroline joined the MFA in 2006.
