Speaker: Pat Jacoby, Deputy Director, Museum of Fine Arts

Join Pat for a discussion on how you can position your organization for success and maximize your fundraising efforts through effective partnering with your Board members. Learn what "work, wealth and wisdom" really mean to you and your organization.

Pat was selected for the Harvard Business School Executive Education Program in 1998. In 1999, the National Society of Fund Raising Executives (Massachusetts Chapter) recognized her as the "Development Professional of the Year." In May 2003, Boston Magazine named her among the "One-Hundred Women Who Run This Town." In 2009, she became a director of the Massachusetts Chapter of American Fundraising Professionals, successor organization to the National Society of Fund Raising Executives.

During her 18 years at the MFA, Pat has contributed the lessons of her experience gained from working in public television as well as complex and sophisticated academic organizations. As Director of Development of the MFA, Pat led the museum through a successful campaign in the nineties. Now Deputy Director of the MFA, Pat's responsibilities have included development, membership, marketing, and public relations. In June 2008, under Pat's leadership, the museum successfully concluded a seven-year campaign to build and endow a major expansion. The benchmark-setting, $500 million campaign was the largest yet attempted by any cultural institution in Boston. Pat oversees the on-going construction project, with the new galleries scheduled to open to the public in 2010 as well as the museum's current strategic planning project.

This program is limited to the first 50 registrants.
