Call for Nominations! Submission Deadline March 30
Women in Development of Greater Boston (WIDGB) is seeking nominees and expressions of interest for open positions on the board of directors. Both self-nominations and nominations of colleagues are enthusiastically encouraged. This is a great opportunity to take on a leadership role in advancing professional development and networking opportunities for development professionals.
WIDGB board members typically serve a two-year term from July 1 to September 30. Board members-at-large serve a one-year term. The board meets four times a year (either in person or virtually), with regular communication between meetings via phone or email.
Board Nominee Criteria Nominees should meet the following criteria: * Active WIDGB member *Experienced professional in nonprofit fundraising (e.g., fundraising from individuals, foundations, corporations, government agencies; donor relations; research and analytics; management) * Demonstrated interest in helping others advance in the profession through leadership within the workplace and/or among professionals in the field * Ability to bring diverse viewpoints to the board * Prior volunteer involvement with WIDGB * Availability to attend board and (as appropriate) committee meetings
