Who belongs to WID?

WID members are comprised of women and men who, collectively, share an interest in the world of development. While members primarily live in the Greater Boston area, we welcome members from across the country and the world. Together we represent a diverse community of social and human interests and are committed to progress made possible by philanthropic support.

 

What are the WID annual membership fees?

There are several open individual membership options:
  • Nonprofit Membership ($110): Individuals who support the mission of WID and are or have been affiliated with nonprofit organizations and are responsible for generating funds or providing operational support.
  • Affiliate/Consultant/Vendor Membership ($175): Individuals who support the mission of WID and are seeking to transition from the for-profit sector, or who currently work in an affiliated for-profit business or industry.
  • New to the Development Profession ($50 for 1 year): This level is special for individuals who have worked in the development professional for 0-3 years. Click here to see a full list of eligibility requirements. Note: This membership will be a one-year membership and will be renewable at the regular $110 Nonprofit Member rate.
  • Institute for Nonprofit Practice Alumni ($25): Individuals who have completed the INP Program are eligible for a special rate. Contact us at [email protected] to learn more.

What are the membership benefits?

Membership of WID Greater Boston (WIDGB) provides an extensive array of educational and networking opportunities to development professionals. Your WID membership entitles you to the following perks:

How do I join WID?

Capitalize on your membership by attending our events, networking with fellow members, posting a question on the WID member only forum and volunteering to work on a committee.

What type of programming is offered by WID?
